2. NATURE OF THE PLATFORM

Financial Insights is a private, closed and non-public educational and mentoring platform, which is accessible exclusively by invitation or within the framework of an individual contractual relationship.

The platform is not a public online service, does not operate as an online store and does not enable public subscriptions or purchases.

3. GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF PROCESSING

We process personal data in accordance with the principles of:

  • lawfulness, fairness and transparency,
  • purpose limitation,
  • minimum data size,
  • accuracy,
  • storage limitation,
  • integrity and confidentiality.

4. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?

4.1 Data provided by you

  • name and surname,
  • email address,
  • any other contact information,
  • content of communication (email, Zoom, Discord).

4.2 Data when using the platform

  • IP address,
  • basic technical data (device, browser),
  • date and time of access,
  • security and technical records (logs).

4.3 Data related to the use of third-party tools

  • Gmail – email communication,
  • Zoom – call participation data (name, email, time),
  • Discord – username, ID and content of communication in closed communities.

5. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS OF PROCESSING

We process personal data exclusively for the following purposes:

We do not process personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.

6. OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE DATA

Providing basic data (e.g. email address) is a condition for establishing access and performing a contractual relationship.

Without this data, access to the platform cannot be provided.

7. PROVISION OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

Personal data may be provided:

  • to contractual processors of IT and communication services (e.g. Google, Zoom, Discord),
  • to state authorities when required by law.

Appropriate contractual agreements on the processing of personal data have been concluded with all processors.

8. DATA TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EU / EEA

Some service providers (e.g. Discord, Google) may also process personal data outside the EU / EEA.

In such cases, the transfer is carried out on the basis of:

  • European Commission standard contractual clauses
    or
  • other appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR.

9. DATA STORAGE PERIOD

We store personal data:

  • for the duration of the contractual relationship or access,
  • after the termination of the relationship for as long as required by legal deadlines,
  • communication data for a maximum of 5 years,
  • technical and security records for a maximum of 12 months.

After the deadlines expire, the data is deleted or anonymized.

10. DATA SECURITY

The controller uses appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including:

  • limited access,
  • encryption,
  • backup copies,
  • access control.

11. INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS

The individual has the right to:

  • access to data,
  • correction,
  • erasure,
  • restriction of processing,
  • objection,
  • data portability,
  • withdrawal of consent (when the basis is consent).

We will respond to the request within 1 month at the latest.
