Špela Dugar is a financial expert with a background in financial mathematics and a master’s degree in quantitative finance and actuarial science. Her passion is the use of mathematical models for financial market analysis, risk management and asset management.
She began her journey in the world of finance by studying financial mathematics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, where in her thesis she modeled stock market bubbles using the example of Bitcoin and correctly predicted its collapse. She gained her first investment experience by investing in cryptocurrencies in 2017, and later diversified her assets into stocks, ETFs, and precious metals.
After receiving her master’s degree and receiving the Prešeren Award, she took a job at Zavarovalnica Triglav as an independent actuary, and then upgraded her passion for financial markets at CM-Equity AG, where she worked as a portfolio analyst. With many years of experience in the financial sector, she embarked on an independent path as an independent asset manager, where she offers clients a comprehensive approach to personal financial planning, risk management and professional mentoring for entrepreneurs in effective asset management.
In addition, she assists in establishing an entire independent investment and trading infrastructure and advises on the design of passive and actively managed investment strategies. She is the founder of Financial Insights, izvoznačna platforma, d.o.o., and a professional partner of the Slovenian online platform Insajder.si, where she uses her knowledge and experience to support individuals and entrepreneurs in making informed financial decisions.

Jernej has been researching the functioning and history of financial markets since 2005. He took his first serious investment steps by taking out student loans, which he used to invest in physical silver near its lowest levels after the 2008 crash.
